Frockcoat
(jean cloth)

1. Richmond Depot Shell Jacket of all types:
1st pattern - {black trimm on cuffs, collar and shoulder tabs; belt tabs} - spring '62 - middle '63
2nd pattern - {no trimming on cuffs, collar and shoulder tabs; belt tabs} - fall '62 - middle '64
3rd pattern - {plain grey, no shoulder straps, no belt tabs} - fall '63 - end of the War
So if you attend a reenactment for 1865 either 2nd pattern in poor condition or 3rd in fair condition will work only.
2. Peter Tait Jacket, English Manufacture - fall '64 - end of the War
3. Frockcoat - 9 buttons front and with black trimming.


Pants & Suspenders

1. CS Foot Trousers, can be with Side Seam Pockets (image 1) or with "mule ears" pockets (image 2).

2. Federal sky blue trousers work only for middle war - end war time frame (as captured piece).

3. Suspenders (image 3) - woven cotton, no rubber type, please!!!


Hats

1. Kepi, either without color band around (image 1) or with black color band around.

2. Forage cap (image 2) - plain grey, no color trimming.

3. Slouch hat (image 3) - more popular among Texians (natural colors only)

1. Vest of military pattern, standup collar, 9 buttons front (image 1).

2. Vest of any civilian pattern and color. (Image 2)

3. Shirt of military pattern made of cotton muslin (image 3).

Socks, Glooves, Poncho and Greatcoat
